EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has revealed that he personally called former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello to invite him for questioning over corruption allegations, showcasing the agency’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

However, Bello declined, citing concerns about journalists allegedly planted by a senator at the EFCC office, a claim that has not been verified. Instead, he requested that EFCC officials come to his village to interrogate him, a unusual request that raised eyebrows.
