A suspected armed robber was on Sunday morning apprehended at Dada Estate, Egbedore local government area in Osun state.
The suspect who was spotted by a member of the community after successfully stealing valuables including gold jewelry, phones and other items from an apartment of an elderly couple who were already at church for Sunday service.
Residents of the area were bent on meting out jungle justice on him but for few others who prevailed on the rest to let justice take its cause.
Meanwhile, while interrogating the suspect by the correspondent of Pulsenews, he confessed to the crime and identify his accomplice who is a resident of the community and incidentally one of those who had attempted to kill him earlier when he was caught, after which he was handed over to the police at Dada Estate division and his informant who was within the police premises having had no inkling of the confession by the suspect was subsequently arrested.
