Crisis erupted at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja after the final whistle condemning Nigeria to a trophy less year was blown in the second leg 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Ghana.

Nigeria lost to Ghana after ending the tie with a 1 – 1 draw, giving Ghana an advantage to win by aggregate since Nigeria was unable to score at Kumasi, Ghana during the first leg.

The return leg held at the National Stadium, Abuja saw a large number of attendance from Nigerians from across the country. The stadium which was filled to the brim with fans from across Nigeria also sparks of high expectationsi from the Nigerian team by the fans.

Unfortunately, Nigeria was unable to complete a comeback to book their place at the upcoming 2022 World Cup.
